Sculptural paper portraits exploring lineage, identity, and becoming.

The Lineage Series is a collection of dimensional paper portraits that explore the many women we carry within us — the women we once were, the women we are becoming, and the women whose stories continue to shape us.

Each portrait is hand-sculpted from layered paper florals, transforming paper into texture, movement, and presence. Rooted in themes of heritage, healing, remembrance, resilience, and self-discovery, the collection invites viewers to reflect on the connections between identity and lineage.

Together, these works form a visual exploration of five archetypes:.

THE DAUGHTER

The beginning of identity.

The Daughter embodies curiosity, wonder, tenderness, and possibility. She represents the earliest versions of ourselves — the dreams we carried, the lessons we inherited, and the foundation from which our stories unfold.

THE BECOMING

The unfolding self.

The Becoming honors transition, transformation, and growth. She represents the seasons of uncertainty, courage, and expansion that shape who we are becoming.

THE MOTHER

The nurturer and guide.

The Mother reflects protection, wisdom, grounding, and care. She honors those who nurture life, hold families together, and leave lasting impressions across generations..

THE ANCESTRAL

The keeper of lineage.

The Ancestral honors memory, heritage, culture, and connection to those who came before us. She reminds us that our stories do not begin with us, but are woven through generations of strength, sacrifice, and love.

THE CROWNED

The woman who has claimed herself.

The Crowned embodies confidence, resilience, sovereignty, and self-worth. She represents the moment we recognize our own value and stand fully in our power.

Together, these archetypes form a visual exploration of the women we inherit, become, remember, and carry within us.
