A 4-week studio experience centered on color, texture, and transformation through paper.
In this spring session, young makers begin by creating their own materials — painting, layering, and exploring how color and mark-making can shape what comes next.
As the weeks unfold, these papers are cut, formed, and assembled into sculptural flowers. Each piece develops gradually, allowing children to experience how an idea evolves through making.
Together, the group builds a shared Story Garden — a collective installation where individual work comes together as a whole.
This session is rooted in exploration, creative confidence, and the experience of making something by hand.
A gentle, guided introduction to working with paper, color, and form.
Students are supported step-by-step as they paint their materials and begin shaping their first sculptural flower, with an emphasis on curiosity, exploration, and building confidence.
A more in-depth studio experience focused on design, pattern, and layered construction.
Students are encouraged to take more ownership of their process as they develop their materials and build more detailed sculptural forms.
